In the world of intelligence, while some things must be done in the shadows, that is no excuse for immoral or unethical behavior.
A friend and I were recently deliberating on the best ways to uncover where the “bodies are buried”. We weighed the ideas of conducting discreet investigations, audits, inspections and simple band-aid removal (sometimes you just have to rip it off). Once done, transparency kicks in for the American people (we are still a government of, by and for the people, aren’t we?)
Once these decisions are made and actions taken inside the government, Americans need to understand just how compromised their government truly has become (most already know or at least believe it). Not all of it is deliberate misconduct, some of it is intentional negligence due to fear of being exposed for incompetence or being bought off. That is very true.
We must first win in November, before the hard work of government reform can begin. Those who don’t want the absolutely necessary reforms for our government will fight tooth and nail. Pay attention, listen closely, and follow through.
For transparency and reform to take place, we all must first VOTE.
We are presented with two options. Voting for a president who loves America and respects her founding documents which structure power by the people. Or voting for a president who will inevitably move our country toward communism with a blatant disregard toward the U.S. Constitution. Stop the discussions on mean tweets, skin color, or taxes. This is a battle to save our constitutional republic and American values.
As we move towards a pivotal moment in history, those uninterested in politics must acknowledge that the next leader of the U.S. will in fact effect the path humanity takes for future generations. If America’s power continues to tailspin, there will be a replacement on the world stage.
I’m not asking for you to declare admiration for either running mate. I’m simply pleading for Americans to remember what’s important to them on November 5th. For one day, take a moment to voice your values.
Millions of citizens on both sides of the political spectrum have disengaged, feeling that politics can’t make a difference in their personal lives, or that the democratic system is rigged regardless. To these people, please keep in mind all of the mothers, fathers, veterans, doctors, journalists and activists who are sacrificing everything for America to continue this experiment in freedom and democracy. Show them your respect and appreciation, for just one moment, of one day, and cast your vote. |
