General Michael T. Flynn joins Bill Spadea on Newsmax for a wide-ranging discussion about newly released FBI records from his January 2017 interview and questions about what may come next for him.
General Flynn discusses the differences he sees between FBI agents’ contemporaneous handwritten notes and the later FD-302, including how his answers were recorded. He says the newly available material includes evidence he and his defense did not previously have access to.
The conversation then turns to General Flynn’s future. Asked whether he would consider running for president, General Flynn says he is not closing off any options and reveals that he has had “very, very serious conversations” with people who have raised the question.
As General Flynn puts it:
“On the battlefield, you always say the best plan gives you the most options right up to the last possible minute.”
